Wearing your baby makes shopping so much easier, and when you have a clingy baby, it's the only way household chores will get done. But the best carrier for going on a hike isn't necessarily the best one for wearing while washing dishes.
You also need to consider the baby's age and abilities. Small babies need more head support, and you have to watch them closely so the head doesn't tip and cause breathing problems.
I love wearing my baby and feeling so close! The attachment is physical and emotional for the baby. I read somewhere that a study showed babies cry less if worn for a couple hours a day. It works for us!
